Remember, O my soul.

Remember, O my soul, the terrible and frightful wonder: that your Creator for your sake became Man, and deigned to suffer for the sake of your salvation. His angels tremble, the Cherubim are terrified, the Seraphim are in fear, and all the heavenly powers ceaselessly give praise; and you, unfortunate soul, remain in laziness. At least from this time forth arise and do not put off, my beloved soul, holy repentence, contrition of heart and penance for your sins.’ - St Paisius Velichkovsky

  1. A fragment of the concert i`ve told you about here:
    Hope you`ll enjoy.

  2. It is dedicated to our martyrs from all the prisons under the communist regime(1948-1964)Aiud, Pitesti, Jilava, Sighet and many, many other places. They were emprissoned for their believes in God, in the Resurection of Christ, our Lord, in our Romanian Orthodox people; they were atrociously tortured and killed, thousands of young people, school people, students or peasants, priests, teachers, advocates, filosofers. The law student Valeriu Gafencu was a saint from his life in prison. He died in Targu Ocna, of tuberculosis, after he donated his medicine to Richard Wurbrandt, a future pastor which escaped alive and emigrated to America. Their lives and prayers give us the power to endure the times to come for Christ and for Salvation.

  3. About the experiment in Pitesti prison: Beyond torture - The Gulag of Pitesti Romania:
Forgive me if I upset you!

  4. Thank you Iuliana! Tonight, when I come home, I will enjoy this concert over a glass of wine and let you know my thoughts ... u dont happen to be Dova from Monachos by any chance?

  5. No, I`m not. Never heard! Who is she?
